【Date】September 8 to 12, 2025

【Venue】Shirogane Campus, room 1255

【Overview】

The workshop “Discrete Approaches to the Dynamics of Fields and Space-Time 2025” was held at the Shirokane Campus of Meiji Gakuin University from September 8 to 12, 2025.

This workshop aims to address fundamental problems in physics, such as the microscopic structure of space-time, using discrete approaches that can also be applied to numerical computations. Such approaches have recently gained increasing importance, as new connections with condensed matter theory and quantum information science have emerged.

By extending the duration of the workshop to five days, presentation opportunities were provided for K.Ohta, K.Sakai, G.Tanaka, and D.Kadoh from the Faculty of Mathematical Informatics at Meiji Gakuin University.

In addition, a public lecture by Koji Hashimoto on emerging directions in physics research using machine learning was organized.
